30 June 2025 - The Good, the bad and the ugly

If you are a lover of classic westerns, then these three men would be instantly recognisable! The are, from left to right, Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach, and Lee Van Cleef and they starred in what I am rapidly learning, the great western ever made. I am going to watch more westerns, so would appreciate any recommendations. I will try the Dollars and classics like High Noon, but what about any others. My partner just suggested True Grit, I will take a look and let you know what I think.

The casting was just so perfect, and it was a great story with these men searching for the gold. Of the three, I found Lee Van Cleef an interesting character with these unique facial features really playing well in the film. I will have to take a look at other films he's in. Sad to think only one of them is left, the amazing Clint Eastwood, although at the time of writing, he is 95 years old. Fantastic.
